As of May, Evansville has 12 registered sex offenders

In May, Evansville had 12 registered sex offenders living there, the same as in April, according to the Wisconsin Sex Offender Registry.

Overall, Evansville had 12 registered sex offenders in May.

According to the Registry, two of these sex offenders were incarcerated at the time.

Some offenders listed in the Wisconsin Sex Offender Registry are under the supervision of the Department of Health Services. These individuals are committed for treatment rather than criminal supervision, and state law restricts public disclosure of their names.

The Wisconsin Department of Corrections manages the state’s Sex Offender Registry, which requires individuals convicted of certain sex offenses to register and keep their information current.
