Test Expectations: How many students met or exceeded math MCAS expectations in Assabet Valley Vocational High School in 2023-24 school year?

Of the 267 students of Assabet Valley Vocational High School who took part in the math portion of the MCAS in the 2023-24 school year, 104 met the testing standard (39%), while nine exceeded expectations (3.4%), according to the Massachusetts Department of Elementary and Secondary Education.

The students' overall success rate in the subject dropped by 5.4% in the 2023-24 school year from the previous school year.

Assabet Valley Regional Vocational/Technical School District, which Assabet Valley Vocational High School is part of, reached an average proficiency rate of 42.3% in math during the 2023-24 school year.

Meanwhile, 52.8% of Assabet Valley Vocational High School students hit the ELA benchmarks, and 44.8% were considered proficient in science.
