Elmer S. Bagnall School: How many students met or exceeded science MCAS expectations in 2023-24 school year?

Of the 63 students of Elmer S. Bagnall School who took part in the science portion of the MCAS in the 2023-24 school year, 21 met the testing standard (33.3%), while four exceeded expectations (6.3%), according to the Massachusetts Department of Elementary and Secondary Education.

The students' overall success rate in the subject dropped by 19.1% in the 2023-24 school year from the previous school year.

Pentucket Regional School District, which Elmer S. Bagnall School is part of, reached an average proficiency rate of 46% in science during the 2023-24 school year.

Meanwhile, 52.5% of Elmer S. Bagnall School students hit the ELA benchmarks, and 55.9% were considered proficient in math.
