Test Expectations: How many students met or exceeded science MCAS expectations in Hoosac Valley Middle School in 2023-24 school year?

Of the 67 students of Hoosac Valley Middle School who took part in the science portion of the MCAS in the 2023-24 school year, 25 met the testing standard (37.3%), while one exceeded expectations (1.5%), according to the Massachusetts Department of Elementary and Secondary Education.

The students' overall success rate in the subject grew by 7.7% in the 2023-24 school year from the previous school year.

Hoosac Valley Regional School District, which Hoosac Valley Middle School is part of, reached an average proficiency rate of 28.9% in science during the 2023-24 school year.
