Indian Orchard Elementary School: How many students met or exceeded science MCAS expectations in 2023-24 school year?

Of the 60 students of Indian Orchard Elementary School who took part in the science portion of the MCAS in the 2023-24 school year, 16 met the testing standard (26.7%), while none exceeded expectations, according to the Massachusetts Department of Elementary and Secondary Education.

The students' overall success rate in the subject grew by 9.2% in the 2023-24 school year from the previous school year.

Springfield Public Schools District, which Indian Orchard Elementary School is part of, reached an average proficiency rate of 19.3% in science during the 2023-24 school year.
