Glickman Elementary School: How many students met or exceeded ELA MCAS expectations in 2023-24 school year?

Of the 133 students of Glickman Elementary School who took part in the ELA portion of the MCAS in the 2023-24 school year, 21 met the testing standard (15.8%), while three exceeded expectations (2.3%), according to the Massachusetts Department of Elementary and Secondary Education.

The students' overall success rate in the subject dropped by 6.5% in the 2023-24 school year from the previous school year.

Springfield Public Schools District, which Glickman Elementary School is part of, reached an average proficiency rate of 20.8% in ELA during the 2023-24 school year.

Meanwhile, 22.6% of Glickman Elementary School students hit the math benchmarks, and 30.4% were considered proficient in science.
