60.7% of Clyde F. Brown School students met or exceeded science MCAS expectations in 2023-24 school year

Of the 84 students of Clyde F. Brown School who took part in the science portion of the MCAS in the 2023-24 school year, 39 met the testing standard (46.4%), while 12 exceeded expectations (14.3%), according to the Massachusetts Department of Elementary and Secondary Education.

The students' overall success rate in the subject grew by 8.7% in the 2023-24 school year from the previous school year.

Millis Public Schools District, which Clyde F. Brown School is part of, reached an average proficiency rate of 54.4% in science during the 2023-24 school year.

Meanwhile, 43.1% of Clyde F. Brown School students hit the ELA benchmarks, and 48.5% were considered proficient in math.
