Obituary

Joe LaVecchio, age 60, of Milbourne PA, passed away on January 19, 2022 surrounded by his family.Born in Southwest Philly, he was the loving son of the late Joseph LaVecchio and Barbara LaVecchio (nee Printz).Joe is survived by the love of his life, Cynthia Doherty.  In their 40 years together, raised three amazing sons, Joseph (April Magolon), Andrew, and Christopher. We were also blessed with three Grandchildren Joseph, Anthony, and Gianna.

Joe is also survived by his siblings, Barbara Armstrong (Paul), Mike LaVecchio (Chrissy), Jeannine Riccardi (John), Celine Hadley, Margi Law and Cheryl Grassia (Amedeo).  Many Nieces and Nephews, all will miss him dearly.

Joe loved working with his hands.  He was a Carpenter/Mason and was very talented at making things beautiful.  Joe also was a Volunteer Firefighter with the Milbourne Fire Company for 20+ years. 

He was very proud to serve his neighborhood with his second family.Joe had a deep love for the outdoors, he loved everything about it, Fishing/Crabbing/Hunting or just hiking.  

This love is what he passed onto his family.  Joe was a devoted Father and Grandfather and taught us everything he knew!  He is leaving us with a lifetime of memories that we will carry with us forever.Joe, you are the love of my Life, through good times and bad, you were always there for me.  

We had a beautiful life together and you will be Forever in my Heart!  I will Love You Always! Doe

Janet Good

May 21, 1961 — January 19, 2022

Obituary

Janet Fay Good, age 60, of Newtown Square, PA, formerly of Santa Monica, CA, passed away on January 19, 2022.Born in Tessier, Saskatchewan, Canada, she was the daughter of the late Frank and Ruby (née Nesbitt) Lawton.  In her early years, Janet’s family moved to Penticton, British Columbia, where she was raised.

Janet married Patrick Good in 1992 in Santa Monica, when she was welcomed to the Good family with open arms.  She and Patrick owned a Philadelphia themed restaurant in Santa Monica, called “The Shack” for 20 years.  Her West Coast Philly family will miss her greatly.  In 2013, they moved to Pennsylvania to be close to Pat’s family when his Mom’s health began to decline. Everyone who knew Janet, knew she had the kindest soul. 

She was a good friend to everyone and above all, she was a loving wife.Janet was the beloved wife of Patrick Good; the loving sister of Tom (Brenda), Greg (Debbie), Judy Lawton, Doug (Deb), and Patti (Shawn).  

She was the dear aunt to her nieces and nephews, Tony, Erin, Mike, Lindsey, Derek, and Quinn.Relatives and friends are invited to greet the family Wednesday, January 26, 2022, 9:00 – 11:00 AM at The Donohue Funeral Home, 3300 West Chester Pike, Newtown Square, PA  19073, 610-353-6300, followed by her Funeral Service at 11:00 AM.
